Cross stitch kit allowing you to make a 5x7inch cross stitch picture showcasing Tynemouth Watch House in the North East of England in a colourful 1920's travel poster style.
Tynemouth is an absolutely stunning part of the North East Coast with a fabulous history. As it is (as the name suggests) at the mouth of the River Tyne, many of it's communities have had strong ties to the beautiful but ruthless North Sea, either relying on it for income or braving it as seafaring folk.
Tynemouth Watch House remains the operational base for the Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade who have been saving lifes along the North East coastline since the mid 19th century and continue to do so to this day. The TVLB rely heavily on donations and so £5 of each sale from this kit will go straight to the TVLB.
The design was influenced by art deco travel posters of the area.
