Modern cross stitch pattern showcasing St Mary's Island and Lighthouse in the North East of England in a colourful 1920's travel poster style. (NOTE this is a downloadable pattern and instructions ONLY, full kits available here)

Whitley Bay is not exactly short of beautiful landmarks, but St Mary's island and lighthouse has a special place in the hearts of many from the North East. The island and lighthouse inspired the Trouvaille Stitch Kit journey. The pattern was influenced by art deco travel posters of the area, as well as the town's colours.

All colours suggested within the pattern are DMC (although it would be interesting to see other takes on the colourway!).

Using 18 count aida will create a 5x7inch finished picture while using 14 count aida will create a 6.5x9inch finished picture.
