Modern cross stitch pattern showcasing Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland, North East England. (NOTE this is a downloadable pattern and instructions ONLY, full kits available HERE)
Bamburgh Castle (or Bebbanburg for you The Last Kingdom fans!) is one of the most iconic castles not only in Northumberland but in the whole of the UK. It's commanding position flanked by the pretty village of Bamburgh on one side and the wild North Sea on the other makes Bamburgh Castle a fantastic place to visit and I know it holds fond memories for many.
All colours suggested within the pattern are DMC (although it would be interesting to see other takes on the colourway!).
Using 18 count aida the final picture measures 5x7inch, while using 14 count aida creates a final picture measuring 6.5x9inch.
