Cross stitch pattern showcasing the iconic Rendezvous Cafe in Whitley Bay, North East England in a colourful 1920's travel poster style. (NOTE this is a downloadable pattern and instructions ONLY, full kits available here)
The art deco design of the Rendezvous, sitting prettily on the promenade, fits perfectly within the landscape of the Whitley Bay seaside, making it the go to location for many an artist and TV location scout (it's ITV's Vera's favourite cafe!). It was, therefore, an easy choice for the second destination in our cross stitch design journey around the UK's local wonders! The pattern was influenced by art deco travel posters of the area, as well as the town's colours.
All colours suggested within the pattern are DMC (although it would be interesting to see other takes on the colourway!).
Using 18 count aida will create a 5x7inch finished picture while using 14 count aida will create a 6.5x9inch finished picture.
